Shahid Kapoor’s much awaited actioned Deva release in theatres on Friday, January 31 to mixed reviews. While a several netizens took to X (formerly Twitter) to praise the film, critics expressed disappointment for the Rosshan Andrrews directorial. Deva Box Office
As per the latest reports, Shahid Kapoor starrer Deva has crossed the Rs 10 crore mark on Day 2 of its release by collecting Rs 12.39 crores at the box office. The day-wise NBOC breakup of the Rosshan Andrrews directorial is as follows – Day 1 (Friday) – Rs 5.78 crore and Day 2 (Saturday) – Rs 6.61 crore.
As per a Sacnilk report, the film has a 5.84% occupancy for morning shows, 11.28% in the afternoon and 14.20% in the evening.
Directed by Rosshan Andrrews, Deva is the remake of Rosshan’s 2013 Malayalam film Mumbai Police. Aside from Shahid Kapoor, the film also starred Pooja Hegde and Pavail Gulati in pivotal roles Giving the film a 3.5 star rating, Bollywood Bubble wrote in its review, “Deva is a complete masala entertainer that blends action, drama, and music to deliver a thrilling cinematic experience.
